Responsibilities
- Monitor server infrastructure and network performance to ensure 99.9% uptime during off-hours.
- Perform routine system backups, security patches, and hardware maintenance to prevent critical failures.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues reported by the day shift team or remote users.
- Manage user access permissions, Active Directory security, and firewall configurations.
- Document technical processes, incident reports, and system configurations in our knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the day shift management to ensure seamless handover of ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server environments and basic Linux administration.
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and professional communication abilities.
