Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage incoming technical support tickets and issues during the night shift.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity problems for end-users.
- Ensure 99.9% uptime for critical systems through proactive monitoring and alerting.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system for knowledge base management.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless handover of ongoing critical incidents.
- Perform routine system patches and security updates during low-traffic periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or IT help desk roles.
- Must be available to work nights, specifically 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk) and ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, Zendesk).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.
