Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support to internal employees via phone, email, and remote desktop tools during night hours.
- Monitor system logs and alerts to proactively identify and resolve potential IT issues before they impact business operations.
- Manage and escalate complex tickets to the appropriate Level 2 or Level 3 support teams efficiently.
- Perform routine hardware and software maintenance, including patch management and system updates.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all support tickets, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a seamless handover of ongoing technical issues and critical system status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Technical Support, or Customer Support.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, VPNs, and remote access tools (TeamViewer, LogMeIn).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-volume, night-shift environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
