Responsibilities
- Resolve Technical Incidents: Provide advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues via phone and ticketing systems.
- 24/7 Monitoring: Proactively monitor system health and performance to prevent outages and address anomalies before they impact users.
- Customer Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and professionally to clients with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all support tickets, resolutions, and incident reports.
- Escalation Management: Identify complex issues requiring engineering intervention and escalate them appropriately with detailed context.
- Shift Handover: Conduct thorough handovers with the morning shift team to ensure continuity of support and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical customer service.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (including weekends and holidays).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, Active Directory, and common office software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy and patience.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose root causes quickly and propose effective solutions.
