Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping to meet daily productivity targets.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Load Management: Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- License: Valid Driver's License is required; forklift certification is a plus.
- Focus: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety documentation.
