Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move inventory within the warehouse.
- Receiving and Inspecting: Receive incoming shipments, verify counts and damages, and accurately stage materials for processing.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by picking items from the warehouse shelves and packaging them securely for shipping.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Equipment Certification: Valid forklift certification is a major plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control in fast-paced environments.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation and a consistent attendance record.
