Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move stock and materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments to ensure accurate inventory levels and organization.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with speed and precision to meet daily targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on machinery and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day shift team to ensure seamless transitions and operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but training will be provided.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
