Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and handling of materials.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to prevent workplace accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse for optimal space utilization.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to obtain forklift certification.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if operating company vehicles).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
