Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff during overnight shifts, including task delegation and performance monitoring
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols, conducting daily equipment inspections
- Coordinate inventory management, cycle counts, and order fulfillment processes
- Optimize workflow efficiency using WMS systems and lean methodology principles
- Train new hires on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and warehouse procedures
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Generate shift reports documenting productivity metrics, safety incidents, and equipment status
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supply chain experience with 1+ years supervisory role
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient in WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and MS Office Suite
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate various warehouse equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work autonomously during off-hours
- Excellent communication abilities for coordinating with day shift and remote teams
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures
