Responsibilities
- Oversee 8-12 person night shift team, assigning tasks and monitoring productivity
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols for overnight operations
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments using WMS systems
- Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records
- Train new hires on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
- Resolve operational issues during off-hours to maintain on-time delivery
- Prepare shift reports and communicate with day shift leadership
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient night shift workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience, preferably in night shift operations
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Valid forklift certification and ability to train others
- Strong problem-solving skills for overnight operational challenges
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Excellent communication skills for cross-shift coordination
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
