Responsibilities
- Oversee night shift warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
- Lead a team of 10-15 associates, providing training and performance feedback
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company protocols
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless transition of operations
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct daily safety briefings and address workplace hazards promptly
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and employee hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience in a 24/7 environment
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Ability to work independently and make operational decisions under pressure
- Valid New York State driver's license (if operating company vehicles)
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
