Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct and supervise the night shift workforce, ensuring productivity targets are met and maintained.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for all employees.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, oversee cycle counts, and manage inventory accuracy during the shift.
- Operations Management: Oversee loading, unloading, and processing of shipments to ensure timely delivery schedules are kept.
- Training & Development: Mentor new hires and conduct shift briefings to communicate daily goals and expectations.
- Problem Solving: Quickly address operational issues or equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with 1+ years in a supervisory capacity.
- Availability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM), including weekends and holidays.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and inventory management processes.
- Excellent verbal communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED required; Forklift certification is a plus.
