Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies.
- Organize merchandise displays and restock shelves to ensure the store remains visually appealing.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for all customers and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Handle cash transactions with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with computers and POS software is preferred.
