Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and general information in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Organize store shelves and maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing sales floor environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking merchandise as needed.
- Handle cash transactions with strict accuracy and adhere to all cash handling policies.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and escalate complex matters to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory counts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate objects (up to 25 lbs).
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
