Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure the store remains organized and visually appealing.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and operational targets.
- Handle cash handling and petty cash reconciliation with strict attention to accuracy.
- Assist in inventory management and markdowns as directed by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency with computers and mobile devices.
