Responsibilities
- Coordinate guest registration and check-in processes at high-profile events
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure seamless on-site logistics
- Train and supervise 5-10 event staff members during shifts
- Handle cash transactions and manage event supply inventories
- Resolve guest inquiries and maintain exceptional service standards
- Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Post-event reporting and client feedback compilation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in event coordination or hospitality
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with reliable transportation
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Eventbrite)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25+ lbs
