Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, and network connectivity for local staff.
- User Support: Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email to assist employees with daily IT challenges.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular software updates, patch management, and security checks to ensure system integrity.
- Hardware Deployment: Assist in the setup, configuration, and delivery of new workstations and peripherals.
- Network Assistance: Monitor local network performance and assist in troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 10/11, and basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
