Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects to development teams with high priority.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create test plans and test cases.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure regression testing is seamless.
- Identify trends in bugs and suggest improvements to the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Maintain the test environment and ensure data integrity during testing cycles.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong proficiency in automation testing tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Experience with SQL databases for data validation and querying.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while communicating effectively with remote teams.
