Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural network architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using real hardware
- Collaborate with theoretical physicists to model quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Create open-source quantum AI frameworks for industry adoption
- Present findings at international conferences (QIP, NeurIPS)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
