Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for exponential computational acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams to deploy quantum neural networks in production environments
- Develop novel error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Secure $2M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Author breakthrough publications in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Patent at least 3 novel quantum-AI integration techniques annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum/AI journals (minimum 10 peer-reviewed papers)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of deploying quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Deep understanding of tensor networks and quantum machine learning
- Experience securing federal research grants ($500K+ preferred)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in topological quantum computing architectures
