Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural networks with 10+ qubit coherence
- Create quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant AI systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI integration frameworks
- Secure $5M+ in research grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum AI (h-index >15)
- Experience securing DoE or NSF research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction
