Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum-AI hybrid systems in superconducting qubit environments
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computational theory and error correction techniques
- Develop patentable methodologies for quantum neural network architectures
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum-AI accelerator systems
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral research
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction protocols
- Proficiency with Python, Qiskit, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Published record in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Experience with high-performance computing and GPU acceleration
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Fluency in quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
