Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuits for NISQ-era processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models for threat detection
- Lead security audits of blockchain protocols against Shor's algorithm vulnerabilities
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals and conferences
- Mentor junior developers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years experience in quantum algorithm development using Qiskit/Cirq
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum assembly languages
- Published research in quantum cryptography or quantum machine learning
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and Grover's search principles
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface codes, LDPC)
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
