Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial and government applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction and qubit stabilization techniques
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware integration gaps
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and foster cross-functional innovation
- Patent novel quantum methodologies and publish in top-tier scientific journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit design
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics
- Proven track record of leading technical projects from conception to deployment
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
