Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize quantum circuits and algorithms using Qiskit, Cirq, and custom frameworks.
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models to process large datasets.
- Conduct research on quantum error mitigation and fault tolerance techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists and hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into executable code.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Contribute to open-source quantum software initiatives and the broader academic community.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on quantum architecture.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in quantum computing, specifically with at least one major framework (Qiskit, Cirq, or Forest/Rigetti).
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, AWS Braket, or Google Cirq).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
