Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms and error correction protocols
- Research and implement novel quantum materials and qubit technologies
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing innovations
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research
- Develop roadmaps for quantum integration in existing cloud infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or advanced semiconductor design
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and qubit manipulation
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting systems or topological qubits
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum journals
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
