Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error-correction protocols for 2026-era quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Architect quantum-resistant security frameworks for financial institutions and government agencies
- Lead R&D on quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum system performance
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum software development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and post-quantum cryptography standards
