Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable machine learning infrastructure and end-to-end AI pipelines for large-scale applications.
- Model Optimization: Lead efforts in model training, fine-tuning, and optimization to ensure high performance and low latency.
- Technical Strategy: Define technical roadmaps and best practices for AI development within the organization.
- Team Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Research: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research and integrate relevant findings into our production systems.
- Deployment: Oversee the deployment of models to cloud environments using containerization and orchestration tools.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML architecture.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or Java; deep understanding of PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Cloud Expertise: Experience deploying models on AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
