Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography challenges
- Architect hybrid classical-quantum systems integrating with legacy infrastructure
- Lead quantum circuit optimization and error mitigation strategies
- Develop quantum-resistant security protocols for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with physicists to translate theoretical models into executable quantum code
- Document quantum system architectures and performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing or advanced algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in cryptography and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
