Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in prototyping quantum solutions
- Create quantum security frameworks for next-generation encryption systems
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum error correction research
- Translate quantum computational advantages into industry-specific applications
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in low-level hardware-software co-design for quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business solutions
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
