Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum algorithms into hardware implementations
- Establish quantum security frameworks for enterprise applications
- Optimize quantum circuit compilation for NISQ-era devices
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum-resistant cryptography standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum conferences
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or quantum annealing
- Demonstrated ability to secure $10M+ in quantum computing research grants
