Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting and photonic qubit technologies
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations and coherence times
- Create hybrid quantum-classical system architectures for practical industry applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization, simulation, and machine learning problems
- Establish performance benchmarks and validation methodologies for quantum processors
- Secure patents and publish research in leading quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Proven track record in developing quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
