Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and trapped-ion technologies
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Lead quantum error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate performance
- Translate complex quantum algorithms into executable code for industrial clients
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Publish research in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor integration
- Strong background in quantum cryptography and post-quantum security
- Proven track record leading cross-disciplinary quantum teams
