Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Architect scalable quantum circuits with error correction for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Develop security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor utilization
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior quantum engineers on emerging QIS technologies
- Research and evaluate quantum software development frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq) and simulators
- Strong background in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Proven track record of publishing in top quantum computing journals/conferences
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Deep understanding of quantum security threats and post-quantum cryptography
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
