Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping error-correction models for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world enterprise applications
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Secure $1M+ in annual R&D grants through DOE and NSF proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with superconducting qubit manipulation and quantum gate optimization
- Demonstrated success securing federal research grants
- Expertise in tensor network simulations and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in quantum machine learning frameworks
