Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with error correction capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise-level applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, topological, etc.)
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen communications
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA, VQE)
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum computing
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex R&D projects with multi-million dollar budgets
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
