Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI governance frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST standards, and emerging global regulations
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models deployed in production
- Lead cross-functional working groups to establish ethical guidelines for generative AI applications
- Design transparency mechanisms for automated decision-making systems
- Monitor regulatory developments and update compliance protocols quarterly
- Train engineering teams on responsible AI development practices
- Prepare compliance documentation for third-party audits and certifications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, compliance, or governance roles at tech companies
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks: EU AI Act, NIST RMF, ISO/IEC 42001
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (Aequitas, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Experience with model interpretability techniques (SHAP, LIME)
- Published work in AI ethics or technology policy (peer-reviewed journals)
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CAG, CAIGI) or equivalent
