Responsibilities
- Design and develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum algorithms and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with next-generation quantum processors
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Track record of publishing in quantum computing research or leading commercial projects
- Experience with high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams
- Knowledge of quantum machine learning and NISQ-era limitations
