Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum computing architectures capable of solving previously intractable problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world enterprise applications
- Collaborate with academic institutions to advance quantum error correction techniques
- Translate theoretical quantum models into practical hardware implementations
- Develop quantum-safe encryption protocols for next-generation security
- Document architectural blueprints and conduct peer reviews
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in distributed computing and parallel processing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse stakeholders
