Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures supporting 10,000+ qubits
- Develop cryogenic control systems operating at 10mK temperatures
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Lead patent development for quantum hardware innovations
- Mentor cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconductor design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals or IEEE Xplore
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with dilution refrigerators and cryogenic engineering
