Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop novel quantum algorithms to solve optimization, simulation, and cryptography challenges
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and testing quantum solutions
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (e.g., topological qubits, photonic systems)
- Present technical findings and architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and investors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or advanced algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks and hardware specifications
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
