Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 qubit capabilities
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead quantum software stack integration with classical HPC infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Collaborate with materials scientists to optimize qubit coherence times
- Drive quantum cloud service architecture for enterprise adoption
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerance techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubit systems or topological qubits
