Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum architectures compatible with existing classical infrastructure
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead integration of quantum processors with cloud computing platforms
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence effects in multi-qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design quantum error correction protocols
- Create quantum software development kits (SDKs) for enterprise clients
- Pioneer hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and academic journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms, quantum gates, and circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Expertise in at least one classical high-performance computing framework
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave) or simulators
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable implementations
