Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors operating at 2026-scale complexity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing cloud infrastructure
- Lead research on quantum-resistant encryption standards for post-quantum security
- Optimize quantum circuit performance using advanced simulation frameworks
- Document quantum system architectures and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or D-Wave systems)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical computer science
- Expertise in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptographic standards (NIST PQC candidates)
