Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Secure $5M+ in research grants by publishing breakthrough papers in Nature/Science journals
- Establish industry partnerships with Fortune 500 companies for quantum pilot programs
- Mentor PhD researchers while maintaining a hands-on research portfolio
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 10+ years of research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing publications
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit manipulation
- Strong background in Python/C++ with quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
