Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Secure $10M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Develop strategic partnerships with IBM Quantum, Google AI, and MIT
- Oversee the deployment of quantum simulation platforms for enterprise clients
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Proven track record of securing federal research funding
- Experience leading teams of 10+ research scientists
- Patents in quantum computing or quantum cryptography preferred
