Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of quantum physicists and engineers in developing next-gen quantum algorithms
- Design and implement error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit architectures for commercial applications
- Secure $10M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private investors
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at QIP conferences
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies to develop industry-specific quantum solutions
- Mentor PhD candidates and establish Nexus Labs as the quantum talent hub
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of research experience
- Published 15+ papers in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proven track record of leading quantum algorithm development projects
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience securing government and private research funding
