Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm research for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature conferences
- Advise C-suite on quantum strategy integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature/Science preferred)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of securing $1M+ research grants
