Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm research and development for next-generation computing platforms
- Manage a team of 8+ researchers and engineers
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor designs
- Develop roadmaps for quantum applications in cryptography, drug discovery, and materials science
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and industry partnerships
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present at international conferences
- Oversee quantum simulation and error-correction protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and error correction
- Experience securing government/industry research funding
- Strong leadership of technical teams in R&D environments
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
