Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum circuits on superconducting platforms
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Mentor junior researchers and collaborate with academic institutions
- Secure federal and private research grants for quantum initiatives
- Present findings at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks for quantum data analysis
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave engineering
- Track record of securing research funding ($500k+ preferred)
